Callen family seafood recipe


Callen family seafood recipe

INGREDIENTS:

12 half ears of corn, placed on end
Head of Broccoli
2 lemons cut in half & squeezed
1 pounds of large, fresh uncooked shrimp
1 lb crab legs
1 lb scallops
Lobster tails or scampi
Salt/pepper
CanCooker All Purpose Seasoning
Fresh or dried basil
½ -stick of butter or butter substitute
1 can of beer
12 oz white wine
12 oz water

First, place in the CanCooker ears of corn standing on end. Add broccoli
heads. Place in crab legs, lobster tails, scallops and uncooked shrimp.
Add seasonings, butter and lemons (halved & squeezed) Pour in the beer,
white wine and water. Latch the lid and place on heat source. Once the
cooker begins to vent steam, keep on heat source for 30 minutes. Remove
from heat source and let stand for a minimum of 5 to10-minutes. Place food
into large serving tray and enjoy.

Tucker & Dalton’s famous ribs


***This recipe was prepared by 2 boys that wanted to try Ribs in the CanCooker. The Ribs were so good they called in the recipe so we could put it on our website for others to enjoy.


Ingredients:


Full Rack of Ribs (cut into 3 sections)

1 large onion (quartered)

2 cans of beer

1 can of water

Seasoning to taste (CanCooker Original Seasoned Salt, CanCooker Onion Pepper Seasoning, etc.)

BBQ Sauce


1. Spray inside of Can Cooker with nonstick cooking spray

2. Place ribs on bottom of Can Cooker

3. Place onions on top

4. Season to taste

5. Add beer and water

6. Lock lid and place on heat source–steam for 60 minutes

7.After the 60 minutes carefully open the lid and remove the ribs

8. Add BBQ sauce to the ribs and place in broiler for 20 minutes. (you an also add BBQ sauce and place on grill for 20 minutes)

9. Serve with BBQ Baked Beans and Garlic Bread.

UNCLE MAN'S ITALIAN VENISON FEAST


Ingredients:


5 to 6 lbs of vension-cut and cubed like stew beef

5 lbs of red potatoes-quartered

6 to 8 ears of corn-cut in half

4 onions-quartered

1 large bag of baby carrots

8 stalks of celery-cut in chunks

2 small bottles of Italian dressing

8 oz of water Lawry's Seasoning Salt Cajun Injector Cajun Shake


Feeds A Bunch


Marinate venison over night with 1 bottle of Italian dressing. Place corn in bottom of cooker. Add potatoes and sprinkle with seasoning salt and cajun shake. Add carrots, onions and celery and sprinkle more seasoning salt and cajun shake. Add venison and other bottle of Italian dressing and water. Sprinkle more seasoning salt and cajun shake. Latch the lid and place on heat source. When CanCooker begins to steam, cook for 45 min. Remove from heat and let cool for 10 to 15 minutes. Pour into large serving tin. (DELICIOUS!)


NOTE: This recipe becomes (Uncle Man's Venison Steak Feast) by simply marinating with Dales Steak Seasoning and leaving off the Italian dressing.

Tamales (Steamed)


INGREDIENTS:


20 Tamales

4 cans of beer


Pour 1⁄2 of each beer into Cooker. Place the opened beer cans in bottom of CanCooker and put grate**on top of the 4 cans (cans hold the grate off the bottom of the cooker. Place 20 Tamales on the grate.


Latch the lid and place on heat source. Once steam begins to vent, keep on heat source for 30-minutes (approx.). Remove from heat using oven mitts and let cool for a minimum of 5 to 10 minutes. Tamales are steamed to perfection! Serve with beans and rice.

Upland Game bird AND VEGETABLE DINNER


INGREDIENTS:


Dove Breast, Pheasants Breast, Prairie Chicken Breast

2 pounds of new Potatoes, quartered

1 bag of baby carrots

8 stalks of celery, cut in chunks

1 or 2 onions, quartered

8-10 ears of corn cut in half, placed on end

CanCooker Original Seasoned Salt

CanCooker Onion Pepper Seasoning

1 stick of butter

1 or 2 12 oz. liquid (bottled water or beer)


First place in the CanCooker the ears of corn standing on end. Add potatoes, carrots, celery, onions and game bird breasts. Add seasoning, butter and water (or beer)


Latch the lid and place on heat source. Once steam begins to vent, keep on heat source for 40-minutes (approx.). Remove from heat using oven mitts and let cool for a minimum of 5 to 10 minutes. Pour out contents into a large serving tray.

SONJA’S SHRIMP AND SAUSAGE SUPPER


INGREDIENTS:


2 pounds new potatoes, quartered

1-2 onions, quartered

12 half ears of corn, placed on end

2 lemons cut in half

1-2 pounds of large, fresh un-pealed shrimp

1 package of kielbasa sausage, whole

4-3 oz. packages of shrimp or crab seasoning

CanCooker All Purpose Seasoning

1-stick of butter 1 or 2 12 oz. liquid (water or beer)


First, place in the CanCooker ears of corn standing on end. Add potatoes, onions and lemons. Place kielbasa on top of vegetables. Add shrimp or crab boil seasoning, All purpose seasoning, butter and beer (or water). Latch the lid and place on heat source. Once the cooker begins to vent steam, keep on heat source for additional 25-30 minutes (approx).


CAREFULLY open lid and add shrimp. COOKER AND CONTENTS WILL BE HOT. USE OVEN MITTS. Re-latch lid and cook for an additional 5- 10 minutes. Remove from heat source and let stand for a minimum of 5 to10- minutes. Place food into large serving tray and enjoy.

PORK TENDERLOIN FAMILY FAVORITE


INGREDIENTS:


1 small pork tenderloin

8-10 ears of corn on the cob, cut in 1/2

2-3 pounds new potatoes cut in 1/2

2 onions, quartered

1 bag of baby carrots

1 stick of butter (optional)

1 bottle of Italian dressing

1 or 2 12-oz. liquid ( water or beer )

CanCooker Original Creole Seasoning

You can add fresh shrimp and kielbasa if you like!


Recipe serves 12


First place in the CanCooker ears of corn standing on end. Add potatoes, onions and carrots. Place pork loin and kielbasa on top of vegetables. Add seasonings, butter and water( or beer ). Latch lid and put on heat source. Once lid begins to vent steam, keep on heat source for 40- minutes (approx.) Carefully open lid and add shrimp. COOKER WILL BE HOT! Let steam for an additional 5-minutes.Remove from heat and let stand for a minimum of 5 to10-minutes. Place food into large serving tray and enjoy!
